Welcome to Planet Books, my on-line book blog. My name is Karen. I like to share my thoughts on books I read, music I listen to and whatever really provokes me and this blog is the perfect way for me to do that. If you have a book that you are promoting and would like an avid reader’s opinion, please feel free to contact me at PlanetBooksWorldWide@gmail.com. I would love to review your book(s). I am generally a fan of fiction, memoirs, historical fiction, fantasy, mystery, crime, young adult fiction and women’s literature (chick lit). I hope you will take a moment to look at my blog and some of my book and music reviews.

Hi Karen,
We are an independent publisher based in Durban, South Africa. We publish mostly South African stories (in a wide variery of Genres) in very small runs or print on demand. I would be very happy to send you some of our books to read if you are interested. You can take a look at our website for the complete list, but I would like to send you a little book called “Someone to Love” first if you permit? It is the story of a couple who foster a young boy. A really heart-rending story. It is very short and a quick read. if you give me your postal address I will send it to you.
All the best
John

Hi, I enjoy your site and run a site myself for writers and freelancers as well as have a new book out which based on your reviews may interest you; The History of the Snowman; From the Ice Age to the Flea Market (Simon& Schuster, Nov. 2007). The site for that book is Today’s Snowman, a fun news source for everything snowman. http://www.historyofthesnowman.com/

Hi Karen:
I came across your site via Sunday Salon. I’m a new member there.
I will definitely keep you in mind when my next novel comes out. No date yet. And when I do another virtual book tour.
All the best in success.

Hi Karen
I run a small press with a few college buddies, and although we don’t have a book in print yet, we’ll have three out just after New Years.
I’ll send you one of each as soon as the ink dries.
Cheers,
Eddie Burkhalter

Hello, I am a self-publishing author in Australia. My publishing label: Aquinine Books
My latest book, “HIROSHIMA SUNSET” released in May 2009 and available at Amazon.com is a fictional tale set against the background of the tragedy of Hiroshima. I would ‘walk to the moon’ for a review.
