Author, Anisha Lakhani, has graciously offered to giveaway signed copies of her debut novel Schooled to TWO lucky winners here at Planet Books.  She told me that “each winner will get a personally signed copy and if they have a dog she will dedicate it to their dog as well – not even remotely kidding.”

  6. Sounds like a really good book. I’m an aspiring teacher, so I guess that’s one of the reasons why I really want to read it.

    My favourite book this summer would have to be “Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist” by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan. I can’t wait for the movie to come out which stars Michael Cera. =)

  8. Howdy. The book sounds great. I don’t have a dog, but I have a book that I’ve been reading for, oh, three months now. Not because it’s bad. It’s really good. Just getting back into the groove after having a baby. The book is “Then We Came to the End” by Joshua Ferris.

  13. Rich kids who are spoiled, a teacher with wonderful intentions and a rather light read! They all sound great to me. It reminds me of the Walmart heiress who paid someone to do her papers and such. She lost her diploma because the young woman who did her work admitted to doing it.   14. A must read is Loving Frank by Nancy Horan. It’s a fascinating story about the crazy love life of architect Frank LLoyd Wright. You won’t be able to put it down!
