I just read an ARTICLE in The Washington Post about a recent book I read debuting on Lifetime Television this Saturday night (I hope it’s available on iTunes next week). The Memory Keeper’s Daughter by Kim Edwards was a book that I really enjoyed for the most part. I swept through the book pretty quickly and was flabbergasted at the choices made by the father in the book. If you haven’t read this book it’s a quick read and an interesting story. If you have read it are you going to watch or TiVo the tv movie version (it’s airing on Saturday night)? HERE is a link to the Lifetime Television site and some videos about the movie version of The Memory Keeper’s Daughter.

Spring Is Busting Out All Over!
Spring has definitely arrived here on Okinawa. It seems like overnight the weather went from comfortable and cool to warm and muggy. YUCK!! There are other places you can see that spring has arrived. I guess one is here at WordPress. They changed the layout of the Dashboard section (for those of you not blogging on WordPress the Dashboard is where the blogger goes to check stats and write posts). I don’t know what I think yet.
Another place that shows signs of new life is the book industry. The Washington Post has a list of new titles being released this spring and there are a lot of books I will be checking into. Yesterday I picked up Bill Bryson’s “A Walk In The Woods“.
I’m about halfway through Jodi Picoult’s “Change of Heart”. I’m really enjoying this book and it’s characters. The story lines are interesting and I like the way the characters are linked together. The Washington Post has an article about the book HERE.
